Flowers in the Mist

There was once a girl that loves flowers. Everyday she would go in her garden and take care of her flowers. One day she went out of town, and never came back. It started to downpour hard and after the rain there was a thick mist in the garden and around the girl’s house. All the towns people thought that it was a curse since the girl never came back. Years went by and the mist stayed. One day a girl named Barana, walked past the garden everyday and she always wanted to look at the flowers. The day the girl that loved flowers left the town, Barana went in to the mist. She went thought he terrible mist and when she was to get to the stoop of the house, she sat and took a deep breath. She exhaled she looked into the mist and the mist started to clear. She saw the beautiful flowers that the girl took care of. It was such a wonderful sight that she started to live the house of the girl who loved flowers. One day she found a note in the house. It was from the old resident of the house. It said “Dear lover of flowers, Thank you for coming back to my flowers that have missed me so. I wish I could have been with them for ever, but I could not. It was my time to wither like a flower does when useless. Please take care of them ‘till the day you die. I thank you. Gone forever, Rose.” It had a rose petal taped to the paper at the bottom. Barana was surprised when she found out that the person who lived here before her was named Rose, since bara means rose. Barana stayed there with flowers, because if she left the flowers will be in a forever mist of sadness.
