The moonlight pierces through the window
Its light ventures into my dark room
I look through to see this moon
To thank it of its soft light
And the moon, she smiles back
It shines brightly, the moonlight
        Ignoring the city lights below
Yet is shy as the clouds float
        Hiding Luna from my sight
The smiling moon stares back at me alone
Keeping me company
As I sleep away in the cold
        Brisk autumn night
